About Us
Placer Community Foundation has awarded a $16,082 Community Wellness Mini-Grant Family Ties to continue its service to active duty military, veterans and their families.
Family Ties focuses on assistance such as mental health treatment for military members who have served during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as their loved ones.

To address the ongoing issue of student dropouts, Toronto District School Board (TDSB) teacher Craig Morrison started a school-business program called the Oasis Skateboard Factory (OSF) to help keep teens stay in school.
